Speedwire System's New Generation of Nitrous Controller

This is our newest addition to our nitrous product line. It has all the great features and functions of our PRO SERIES nitrous controller and now in an all billet aluminum enclosure. Nitrous controllers in epoxy for high moisture or wet applications are still available upon request.

Our new generation of nitrous controller features microchip technology and programmability without the use of a laptop. Timers are programmed with a shaft encoder selector and screen prompts, allowing you to change settings on the fly in the staging lanes, giving you the convenience of last minute changes.

It can be configured for 2 to 5 stages and from 2 to 10 timers. All controllers can be programmed and updated with software. For example if you purchased a 3 stage controller and decided in the future to have 4 stages, simply send us back your controller for a software update to 4 stages without purchasing a new 4 stage controller.

On-screen prompts, and status reading for inputs for ease of use and diagnosis.

Self-diagnosing LED status for fuses and outputs. For example if fuse is blown, LED will turn from yellow to red.
Each stage can be set to be timed, instant, or off.

Each stage can be selected to either start over or hold the timers if there is a need to “pedal” the throttle, and you can select how many stages are to start over or hold the timers.

You can select any stage to come on at any time. For example, if your stage 3 tune up is more aggressive than your first stage and want to take advantage to optimum track conditions, you can select stage 3 to come on at the release of clutch or trans brake and time your first stage. This gives you complete flexibility of how and when your nitrous stages are applied.

Each output uses 70 amp relays and slow blow fuses that will not blow due to higher than normal amperage spikes. For split systems, 35 amp relays are used per channel.

Built in line purges with fuses and relays.

Built in Trans brake or clutch input staging interrupt. The unique feature is this circuit is all controlled by the microprocessor, giving you Nanosecond response time once the button is released.
Timers for any stage can be set to start upon a ground input from a shifter selector input, allowing the nitrous to be applied after the car has shifted into gear primarily from the 1-2 shift.

Nitrous Non-EFI

• Nitrous one stage with or without progressive
• This system is an example of a typical system used in an application carb or EFI with one stage of nitrous that can be used with or without a progressive. The relay controller has a built in nitrous interrupt function for staging. The single nitrous 5 to 70 amp relay module can be triggered by the carb switch, or an EFI output for activation of nitrous solenoids.
   

• This system is an example of a typical system used in an application carb or EFI with two stages of nitrous that can be used with or without a progressive. The relay controller has a built in nitrous interrupt function for staging. The dual 50 -70 amp nitrous relay module can be triggered by the carb switch, or an EFI output for activation of nitrous solenoids. Most progressives have a 12v timer output that can be used to trigger the second stage relay. When using EFI, you will connect the EFI timed outputs for triggering the relays for nitrous.
  

• Nitrous Pro series controller up to 10 timers
  Here are some examples of a complete 4 stage pro series nitrous system with an 8 relay controller. The nitrous controller can be programmed from two to four stages to accommodate your individual needs. The switch panel shown with optional LED interior light, and billet mounting brackets, is configured to have motor purge provisions and two line purges. The 8 relay controller will operate the vehicle electronics, and the nitrous solenoid relay controller will be triggered by the LCD screen controller which is the brain of all the nitrous functions, for your solenoid activation. This will come complete with all data cables needed for interconnecting relay controllers. Also, here is a complete 4 stage pro series nitrous system with a 14 relay controller. The nitrous controller can be programmed from two to four stages to accommodate the your needs. The switch panel shown with optional LED interior light, and billet mounting brackets, is configured to have motor purge provisions and two line purges. The 14 relay controller will operate the vehicle electronics, and the nitrous solenoid relay controller will be triggered by the LCD screen controller which is the brain of all the nitrous functions, for your solenoid activation. You have the ability to trigger the relays on the 14 relay controller with external ground inputs either by your EFI outputs or manual ground switch.
   

Nitrous EFI

• 2 stages with EFI
  This system is an example of a typical system used in an application for EFI with two stages of nitrous that can be used with the timed outputs from your EFI. The relay controller has a built in nitrous interrupt function for staging if needed. The dual 50 -70 amp nitrous relay module can be triggered by the EFI output for activation of nitrous solenoids.
   
• 4-8 stages with EFI (PROMOD)
  These systems are made for 4 to 8 stages for PRO MOD, TOP SPORSTMAN, with EFI. Our systems are designed to work with any EFI system: PRO EFI, XFI, BIG STUFF 3, and others. • BOTTLE PRESSURE REGULATION SYSTEM
  

This is Speedwire System's newest product for nitrous applications. Our bottle pressure “watchdog” is an automatic bottle pressure regulation system that works in conjunction with your blanket heater. This is used to maintain your desired bottle pressure on cold days or evenings in the lanes, using either your pit battery or car battery as a power source. Simply set your desired bottle pressure range and the system will control the relays that power the bottle heater blanket, turning them on and off to keep the bottle warm enough for your set pressure. The accurate pressure transducers that are included read and control feedback to the microprocessor and the controller will do the rest. You can also see a live pressure reading when the unit is powered up. This controller can be used for 1 or 2 bottles.
